Some weeks ago… I was looking for a simple theme for this blog. I downloaded some themes, installed them and deleted them. And then… I found the “Fifty Fifth Street” theme by Tammy Hart, installed it and loved it! It was exactly what I was looking for. Simple, clear and really great. So I decided to make some changes…
What did I made? I made a “reloaded” version with this changes:
- I added the post_thumbnail function (Well, I really like this function)
- Made some changes in the comments.php and functions.php
- seperated the pings from the comments
- made the “threaded-comments” a little bit more usefull
- and I added a “comment-counter” - Made the theme translation ready and I translated it into german
- and I fixed a broken backlink to the authors page
