I have the same problem. :(

In my menu I have 'dogs'.

Submenu(straight down): poodles, labradors, greyhounds

Sub-submenu (poodles) have three differnt dogs: Doris, Buster, Cookie

'labradors' is hiding the names of the poodles!!!

How can I solv this problem?

Hi Catja,

1.5.1

I also have this plug-in.

Can that be a problem and affect the menu? It shouldn't but now I am looking for any ideas…

Hi,
the plugin shouldn't be the problem… I'll check this as soon as I can, but may be that I'll need till monday evening… Hope that's okay…

Last question… WP 3.2.1 is also running?

I HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM and want to share. Maybe other persons can use my tip.

I am a stubborn person Laugh – oh yes I am -  and could not help but continue to look for the error. I took a chance and decided to try 'forcing' grandchildren (level 3 in menu) to be at the top relative to the other levels. I added a 'z-index' (value for depth) in style.css like this and set the value to '1':

/ * Position the third level flyout menu * /
# navbar ul ul ul {
left: 75px;
top: 10px;
width: 149px;
border-top: 1px solid # 000;
z-index: 1;
}

There is also another solution but I don't think it looks so nice as with overlap. That is to set left value the same as width value, i.e. 149 px. Then level 2 and level 3 lays edge to edge and cannot hide one another.

A new question. As it is now I have 'Search for…', 'archive', 'categories' and 'tags' in

sidepanel (right). Is it possible to have them in menu instead and no sidepanel? If,

how do I make that?

Thank you very much for a really nice theme, I love it!

Hi again,

the "z-index" hack was also my suggestion. Wink But you should use a value like 9999. There are some "effect plugins" which are also using the z-index for overlays and so on…

Your other question… Unfortunately, you couldn't use archives, tag-pages and others in the main menu, because it only works with "Pages". Frown

But… I've decided to completly rewrite the "A little touch of purple" theme and make it more useable with newer WP-Versions. But I'll need time to do this, and I'll find this time only in the dark and short winter months… Yell

If you have more questions, please let me know how I can help you.

Thomas
